As we commence the new 2023-24 Rotay Year, the

Chepstow & District Rotary Club

would like to THANK ALL OF YOU for your help, generosity, assistance and support over the last 12 months.

Without this we could not have helped the various projects and organisations that we have during 2022.

Donation towards the new Tintern playground.

Donated new trees, plants and signage for the St Mary’s Parish Church Memorial Garden in Chepstow and the restoration of an ancient grave and bench by one of our Founder Rotarians. The garden was then re-dedicated by the Bishop of Monmouth.

Donations to the Chepstow Foodbank.

Donation to the music department of a local school to buy a set of djembe drums

23 instruments.

Donation to the Ukraine Community Hub in St Briavels, as well as supplying warm clothes and fleeces for adults and children.

Helped funding a Chepstow school child to travel to Holland for a sporting event.

Donation to the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.

Ran the local Rotary Shoebox Scheme, where local schools provided gift filled packages for vulnerable children and families in Ukraine, Moldova and Romania.

Donation to the Rotary District 1100 appeal towards the purchase of a refurbished ambulance to be sent to Rotary in Kyiv.

Assist in running the Community Draw, run with a couple of neighbouring Rotary Clubs, where Rotary provided all the draw tickets and prize money at no cost to the local groups selling the tickets – who keep all the money they raised.

A donation in euros to our German sister Club in Westerwald for the German Flood Appeal.

Funded two Shelter Boxes, a shelter box gives durable shelter and tools for a family of 4 for a minimum of a month to families devastated by conflict/disaster.

Make a bucket collection after the Torchlight Carol Service raising support for the Ukraine Community Hub in St Briavels.
