Dear Rotary Club

Thank you for donating to our school you are fantastic! We are very pleased and feel very lucky and grateful. We are going to use the money to improve our outdoor areas with an outdoor classroom.

Our plan is to ask the children what they like and want. We will send you some photos of the new equipment, we would love you to come and visit us too!

Keep up the good work you are brilliant!

A  LOG CABIN FOR UNDY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Recently the Undy Primary School PTA (FOUPS) discussed a request from the school to assist relieving the increasing shortage of classroom space. This was discussed, with the result to build for an outdoor classroom in the form of a log cabin. The PTA reached out to the Chepstow &District Rotary Club, requesting assistance with this initiative.

This cabin would provide not only enhanced educational facilities but also serve as a peaceful sanctuary for students with emotional needs. In addition, older students would greatly benefit from the calm and serene environment, which would serve as a source of inspiration for learning and personal growth.

The Chepstow & District Rotary Club recognised how this project aligns with Rotary’s core values of supporting education and community development. Seeing the benefits it will bring to the students and the school; they had no hesitation in offering their support. In typical Rotary fashion, they made a significant donation this month to the project, ensuring it moves closer to reality.

The PTA are deeply grateful to Chepstow & District Rotary Club for their generous contribution and commitment to improving the educational experience for their students.

Rtn David Burr, Grants co-ordinator says this collaboration perfectly reflects the Rotary mission of making a difference through meaningful educational and community projects and makes a pivotal step in bringing this project to life.
